For the past 12 days I’ve taken part in the amazing Learn Move Play Ground II project.
The project is initialised and organised by the GUC, Architecture and Urban Design Program / baladilab in cooperation with the University of Siegen and UNHCR. The project is fully financed by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the DAAD – German Academic Exchange Service.
36 Egyptian and German students participated in this project. The aim of this project was to improve the playgrounds of two schools, the Asmaa Bint Abi Bakr School, New Cairo and the Shajarat Al Durr School, Islamic Cairo.
In order to take part in this project, I had to skip ten days of college. I was reluctant to apply at first but what I’ve learned during LMPG II is way more important than what I would have learned in a month of college.
